During School Year 2010-2011, SERRC's Facilities Team Provided Services to 37 School Districts
Facilities Services offers a wide-array of maintenance and construction services that help districts keep their schools safe and in compliance with state regulations.
SERRC Facilities program provides complete and affordable school facility planning services inclduing CIP Grant and Debt Reimbursement Applications, Grant and Construction Administration, Educational Specifications and Facility Planning, Condiition Surveys and Facility Appraisals, Asbestos (AHERA) Services, and Maintenance Management services.
During FY11, SERRC's Facilities Team:
- Wrote 44% of all submitted Capital Improvement Project Grant applications and 13 of the 16 projects funded by the Alaska State Legislature
- Helped 28 school districts stay in compliance with state law using SERRC's Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Administered 13 construction projects for 8 school districts
Recent renovations in Tanana helped the district cut its fuel consumption at that side by nearly 50%
