See you at the Science of Reading Symposium

SERRC will have a table at the Alaska Science of Reading Symposium at the Egan Convention Center in Anchorage, April 28-30. You’ll find friendly SERRC staff, door prizes, swag and the chance to win one of our culturally relevant book bundles for elementary and middle school students, young adults and professionals. You can also expect resources exploring cultural implications around the science of reading and learn about professional learning offerings related to literacy, paraeducator training, supporting special populations and more!

Spring Virtual Transition Camp

SERRC is hosting a Spring Transition Camp Webinar 9 a.m.-noon on April 24-27 via Zoom. Students will complete several secondary transition activities and hear from speakers about their careers. The experience can be customized by selecting different sessions based on interest and schedule. There’s still time to register classes or individual students, with packets emailed on April 20.
