Angela Stark is the MASST Coordinator for the Kenai Peninsula and an adjunct psychology professor at the University of Alaska. She has been in the education field for over ten years, primarily focusing on neurodiversity, with experience in both the private and public sectors. Angela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Governors University in 2010 and a Master of Science in Educational Psychology from Capella University in 2013. She has worked with clients and students ranging in age from birth to 21. Previously, Angela worked in the behavioral health field as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She also worked in early childhood education as a case manager for Early Head Start, where she assisted parents, grandparents, and caregivers in helping children (birth to 3 years old) reach important developmental milestones. Before her current role with SERRC, Angela taught Adult Basic Education courses at Kenai Peninsula College. She currently lives in Soldotna with her husband and their Chihuahua. In her spare time, her family enjoys rock hounding and exploring the peninsula’s beaches.
