Cameron is a speech-language pathologist and educator who has lived in Juneau and worked throughout the state for many years in both educational and healthcare settings. A highlight of her career has been traveling to rural and remote villages in Alaska, so she is particularly enthusiastic about AHEC's mission of improving healthcare for populations living in rural settings. Cameron has a lifelong interest in cultures and, in 2004, was culturally adopted T'aakdeintaan, Raven Seagull. Cameron enjoys spending time with her husband and border collie/Australian Shepherd, Em. Hobbies and interests include traveling, reading, gardening, photography, and learning to play the cello.
