Cherish has been working in HR since 2000. Cherish holds several credentials including SHRM-SCP and IPMA-SCP. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the American Association for School Personnel Administrators, and the Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA). Cherish is an experienced Human Resources provider with extensive knowledge of Alaska’s unique needs and challenges. Cherish worked for the Juneau School District in HR for sixteen years where she oversaw state reporting, hiring, compensation, labor relations, HRIS/Payroll system implementation, FMLA/AFLA, ADA and strategic planning. Cherish is building and implementing sustainable HR processes to supplement SERRC's growth and is excited to offer Human Resources services to districts across the state.
