David worked in Alaska from 1993-2024, starting as a tech at the Anchorage Daily News, before moving to Unalakleet and the Bering Strait School District where he wired 15 schools and the district office just before GCI brought satellite Internet to rural Alaska. He converted the district to Powerschool and trained staff, students and community members. After five years as the Tech Coordinator, he moved to the Galena School District and managed Powerschool for IDEA and IDEA International as the Tech Director. Two expensive hockey playing sons led to a side step to working as a tech at BP Exploration and eventually as an Optimization Engineer on the North Slope for eight years. After BP downsized in Alaska, David became the Principal of White Mountain School back at BSSD where he worked for nine years. "I'm very happy to be back working for rural Alaskan districts to help deliver Internet services to staff and students."
