Stacy is a workforce development program coordinator and adult educator employed with SERRC since 2019. She came to Juneau in 2018 to serve with AmeriCorps at SERRC’s The Learning Connection. Previously, Stacy worked in the University of Arkansas System for 14 years, earning an M.Ed in Higher Education Leadership and another M.Ed. in Adult and Lifelong Learning. She is family-focused and enjoys playing video games, visiting museums, spending time in nature, playing music, making art, repurposing old things, building, and gardening. Stacy’s first career was in the arts. She co-founded a youth-oriented arts resource center, leveraged the arts community to aid people experiencing homelessness, and toured with her bands and solo projects from the early 1990s to the late 2000s.
