Staff Profile for Darcy Markovich - ANSWER Camp Coordinator

Darcy Markovich is the Coordinator of the Alaska Native Student Wisdom Enrichment Retreat (ANSWER) Camp. She is also the coordinator of E-Rate management services for the organization, and leads SERRC’s Wellness Committee. Darcy has worked for and with educators since 1995.

Darcy joined SERRC in December 2004 as its Executive Administrative Assistant/Office Manager after spending ten years with the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development in various positions including executive secretary to three commissioners and the State Board of Education. In January 2008, Darcy joined SERRC’s ANSWER Camp program.

Darcy and her husband are raising their two children in Juneau where they too were born and raised, surrounded by family in the community and environment they love.
