Staff Profile for Celeste Tydingco - Occupational Therapist

 Celeste is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Health Sciences. She was the Fallon Scholarship recipient as well as the Vice-President of the Student Occupational Therapy Association. While in the Occupational Therapy program, she was selected by the Seattle School District to work with at-risk kindergarteners and first graders to develop fine-motor skills.

After graduation, Celeste continued her training and is certified in Handwriting Without Tears and the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests. She also sought out instruction from Dr. John Ortiz of the Asperger’s Syndrome Institute regarding the syndrome as well as high functioning autism. I am an Emergency Medical Technician 2 for the State of Alaska and a Wilderness First Responder. Celeste enjoys partnering with school personnel to increase student function across settings, and recently taught Handwriting Without Tears for Sitka Community Schools.
