Computer Training
The Learning Connection (TLC) provides free evening computer classes.
During the month of March, TLC will be offering “Introduction to Microsoft Excel” on Monday and Wednesday evenings and “Introduction to Microsoft Word’’ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All classes take place at The Learning Connection at 210 Ferry Way, from 5-7 pm. TLC also provides computer training at its Cedar Park, Gruening Park, and Geneva Woods locations.

TLC's free computer classes are funded by a grant from the City and Borough of Juneau. The computer labs at Cedar Park and Geneva Woods are funded by a grant from the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation.

The Learning Connection now offers extended hours at its downtown location. The longer hours include late nights on Thursday evenings until 7 pm and Saturday hours from 10-2 pm the last Saturday of every month.
The Learning Connection (TLC) is the recipient of a Fred Meyer Foundation grant that has helped TLC pay for staff members who work with students at after-school clubs at three locations throughout Juneau.
