2013 JUNIOR ALASKA CLOSE UP SESSION
January 28 - February 1, 2013
Seventh and eighth grade Junior Alaska Close Up students attend the same session as the Alaska Close Up students. You will participate in many of the same activities as Alaska Close Up students, and in addition, have other activities and field trips that will help you identify the three branches of our State government and learn how they work together to govern the people of Alaska. Junior Alaska Close Up is a hands-on experience that helps you understand the importance of state government. In order to attend, you need a basic understanding of government, and you should be able to work with other students and adults.
