Southeast Alaska Construction Trades Academy
Attention: Youth 18 – 24 years of age who are interested in the construction trades:
We will be applying again for grant funds to hold a 2011 Construction Trades Academy. If our grant is approved, you are invited to apply for the two-week Southeast Alaska Construction Trades Academy, where you will learn about and practice basic carpentry skills and receive some of the certifications needed to apply for apprenticeship or a job. Eligible applicants are graduating high school students or recent high school or GED graduates, are 8-24 years old, and reside in rural Southeast Alaska. Watch for notice of grant approval.
